Well, The Business Information Center (BIC) may just be your answer.
The BIC is a comprehensive resource library located within the Business Technology Center for small business owners and individuals desiring to launch a new business. An array of business related tools are available to assist business owners including, Entrepreneur Start-up Guides, a library of business related “how to” videos, business planning resources, books, periodicals and much, much more.
A state of the art computer lab loaded with the latest business software applications and Internet access is also available to the public free of charge.
To provide general business counseling and business planning assistance, representatives from SCORE are on site Mondays from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; Tuesdays – Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition, individuals can sharpen their business skills through workshops and seminars regularly offered at the Business Technology Center.
Whether it’s how to manage cash flow or how to develop a business plan and secure adequate financing, entrepreneurs and people interested in starting a small business are able to access a wide variety of training opportunities offered at the Business Technology Center.
Workshops, seminars and special training classes designed to enhance business acumen and keep small business owners informed are available on a regular basis at a minimum cost.
Experienced professionals from SCORE, Houston Business Development, Inc. and other agencies are on hand to conduct classes covering a variety of topics including:
